Update for Tuesday, April 13, and More

Hello young writers,

I apologize for the last minute changes but today and next Monday (i.e. Monday, April 18) will be dedicated to library research. That means that you are responsible for your own time since I won’t be in class. Use this time wisely to meet in teams either face-to-face or via Google chat.

Our informal in-class presentation of each team’s brochure has moved to Wednesday of next week (i.e. April 20th), the same day drafts of your reports are due. These presentations will take 5 minutes at the most and do no require handouts.

I can’t overemphasize the importance of bringing in a full draft of your report. It doesn’t have to be perfect (which is what it’s called a draft) but you need to have papers with full paragraphs and to show that you’re genuinely thinking about your work.

I’ll be available to meet during my office hours tomorrow (1:30-3:00pm on the 3rd floor of the library), though there won’t be office hours on Tuesday, April 19 . Furthermore, you can also reach my via email and share your thoughts on the course blog (which I also check).

Thanks,

Sipai
